#gifted 👟 Thanks @cadenseadaptive for gifting me these kicks that are specifically designed for those of us with #footdrop (dropfoot? 🤔)

Like most adaptive shoes these are easy to put on, but their super-power is in the variable friction technology on the soles of the shoes that lets you glide or slide your foot when it refuses to clear the ground 🙌

These are the only shoes I’ve ever tried that come with instructions! I got the hang of them pretty quickly and found myself saying “I feel less disabled in these” when I was wearing them in the house (on hardwood, no rugs)

In the real world, on carpet and sidewalks, I still have to consider my walking technique. Especially on my weaker right foot which has a hard time coming off the ground at the best of times.

At $198 these shoes are pricey, but they eliminate the need for a (far more expensive) AFO.

Adaptive shoes all seem to be sneakers, which is cool, but here’s hoping @cadenseadaptive makes my dreams come true and adds a loafer or a knee-high boot to their collection! 🤩
